How do I register for a class?
It's easy, just click on the "Book Your Seats" button or Calendar tab, click the painting you would like to paint on a specific date and time and then click the picture to sign-up. Once you fill out your information and complete your transaction a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided.
How much is each event?
Events range anywhere from $30 - $45 dollars depending on the event. If you would like more information please view our Calendar page.
What should I expect?
Expect to have a blast! Once you arrive just sign in, grab a seat and pour yourself a drink, we also sell soft drinks and snacks in case you don't BYOB. Once the event begins, our talented and awesome instructors will guide you on how to paint the painting of the evening step by step. When all is said and done, you will be amazed at what YOU created, not to mention all the fun you had in the process. And being with a loved one, friend or family makes the night even better!
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself and the BYOB of your choosing! We provide the aprons, paint, brushes, canvas and of course the instruction. You can also bring snacks in case you get the munchies. Just in case you forget to BYOB, there is a liquor store within walking distance from us.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code here so come however you choose! We do provide aprons but keep in mind, that paint can splatter.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be done at least 48 hours prior to the event for a store credit as we do not give out refunds (No Exceptions). Your store credit can be used for a future event just call us and we'll set it up. As for event cancellations, we reserve the right to cancel an event at any time. Please contact us for more details.
Is your studio BYOB?
YES! Our Jersey City location is a BYOB Art Studio. Please remember that you must be 21 years of age to enjoy any alcoholic beverage in our studio and we ask that you drink responsibly.
What is Open Studio?
Open Studio is when we allow anyone to come into our studio during certain days and hours to "Free Paint". The cost is $25 per person and registration is required. We provide the canvas, paint, brushes and apron and then your free to paint whatever your heart desires.
Do you offer Private Parties?
Yes! A paint and sip party is great for any occasion. For more information please call us at 732-309-6568.
Is there parking?
No, however, we are ONLY 4 Blocks away from the Grove Street Path which makes us super easy to get to or you can park on the street wherever space is available.
When do I need to arrive?
We suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes before the event to get settled in and mingle. Our instructors start on-time so please be sure to plan accordingly.
Is there reserved seating?
If you plan on attending with others and would like to sit together you can enter this information during checkout when you register.
I don't have any artistic talent, will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! And don't worry, most people haven't picked up a paintbrush since elementary school ;) Our talented instructors will be there to help you every step of the way!
When does the next calendar get posted?
We do our very best to fill in the Calendar with events at least 2 months in advance giving you plenty of time to plan ahead with friends and family.
If an event is Sold Out, do you have a waiting list?
Yes! If you try to register for an event that has been sold out, it will ask you if you would like to be placed on the waiting list. If you are called due to someone else's cancellation, we will give you as much notice as possible.
Is there an age limit for any of the events?
The only age limits required are 21 years of age if you plan to drink and for Children's events, we suggest children ages 6 and older.
How do you differ from other Paint and Sip Studios?
In order to answer that, we invite you to come and see for yourself! We have taken great pride in designing our studio to make your experience a fun and memorable one. Our paintings are one of a kind and you'll be proud to hang them up in your home/office or maybe even sell them on Etsy ;) To top it off, our Instructors were chosen by you! That's right, before we opend our doors we invited people in for a free event. The catch was, that they would critique our instructors and fill out a survey after the event. After all was said and done, we hired your favorites! So come on in, and enjoy Jersey City's most exciting fun around!
What is included in the price for the Children's Birthday Party?
For Children's events we supply the canvas, aprons, paint, brushes, fun music and of course the instruction. As for the party favors, each child will take home their very own painting on a 16 X 20 canvas. We sell snacks and beverages or you can bring in your own food, drinks or desserts as well as decorations. Each Birthday child can choose the painting of their choice for the party. If they would like something custom made, we will work with our artists to see what we can do, however, there will be an extra charge for that from between $75 - $100 dollars depending on the complexity of the painting. Do you have events just for kids?
Yes! We offer after school programs where the children can paint or do arts and crafts every day during the week as well as Summer Programs. We also have special events from time to time just for children. One of our most popular events is "Babysitter's Night" where parents drop their kids off for two hours while they grab some dinner, drinks or a movie.
